Thanks to all who volunteered time, talent, and treasure to make our Missions Conference, June 5th through 7th, an amazing success! Over 60 of us came together to hear God-stories of His provision in AFM’s past; to learn about “God-sightings” in the present, and to dream about the future. Our theme was Crazy Enough to Believe that We Can Change the World.

As I wrapped up our morning session on Saturday I posed one simple question: “How is God leading me as a result of this weekend?” That same question greets every one of us each morning: “How might He be calling me to step up to the Great Commission?”

We at AFM continue in the vision God gave us over two decades ago: to obey our Lord’s last words by going to the nations. Our team to Asia just returned with an exciting report of God at work in an unreached people group; we have a team leaving for Borneo shortly; and later this fall a team will be going to the Middle East. We continue to believe that He’s called us to change the world.

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
